Corrective Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic Adjusting Techniques
Our Doctors are trained in multiple adjusting techniques to safely and effectively restore
corrective motion to the joints of the spine and extremities such as:
- Hands-On Adjusting Techniques: commonly knowns as Diversified, is a classic manual adjustment.
- Instrument Assisted Adjusting Techniques: known as “Activator”, uses an instrument rather than hands-on approach.
- Drop Table Techniques: known as “Thompson”, uses a unique adjusting table with sections that “drop away” for a very gentle soft adjustment.
- Flexion-Distraction Technique: a special traction technique, used to relieve pressure on the spinal nerves and discs.
The three progressive phases of corrective care are:
Phase 1: Intensive/Relief Care
Phase 2: Corrective Care
Phase 3: Wellness/ Protective Care
